Most Investor-Friendly City
Presently Katowice is the fourth regional market in Poland in terms of modern office space. If we take Warsaw into consideration, Katowice is in fifth place. The size of modern office space in the capital of Upper Silesia amounts 460,600 sqm. In 2016, 8 office projects were completed. The biggest of them is the Silesia Star II, the third stage of the complex A4 Business Park and the next phase of Silesia Business Park. Under construction are further office buildings, which will offer a total area of 48,200 sqm. The largest currently implemented investment of this type is being realized by TDJ Estate. It is located in the very center of Katowice - a 66-meter high office building .KTW. The first phase of the project will provide approx. 18,300 sqm. In August 2017, SKANSKA started construction of IV stage SBP, which will provide 12,000 sqm. New lease agreements accounted for more than 75 % of transactions on the real estate market. The vacancy rate in Katowice is currently 11,8 %.
