With LEED certification (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design), the Radisson Blu Resort, Świnoujście is the first five-star hotel in Poland designed and built to meet strict sustainability standards. The competition for the architectural project was organized with the Polish Association of Architects (SARP) in 2012. The aim of the competition was to find high-quality and contemporary architecture for the new buildings, which give the cityscape of Świnoujście a modern and fresh touch. The hotel is the highest building in the spa zone of the city. A pier will crown the complex and prolong the promenade to the beach.
