New Shopping Centre of the Year, Poland
Galeria Grodova is located in the centre of Grodzisk Mazowiecki, next to the entertainment venue with the cinema Centrum Kultury. It weaves the urban fabric delivering a mixed-used project complementing the city centre functions, being the first modern shopping gallery in the town.
The elegant entrance in the form of a high portal opens into a two- storey building arranged around a shopping arcade and crowned with a large skylight. The centre is equipped with a parking garage. The total area of the centre is over 9,000 sqm, the gross leasable area is 5,525 sqm. Among the tenants there are: Stokrotka, Cosmedica, Rossmann, SMYK, RTV EURO AGD, Martes Sport, TXM, EMPIK, Diverse, Quiosque, Medicine Everyday Therapy, 50 Style. Service outlets include the hairdresser, optician, newsstand, travel office and currency exchange. The grand opening, Dec.1, 2016, attracted 14,000 visitors, half of the town’s populace. During the first month of operations the centre recorded the footfall of 200,000.
