Major projects on the real estate market between October 2020 and June 2022
Representing successfully German investment funds in a case concerning the tax exemption of revenues derived from investments in Poland. In a series of judgments handed down on 25.11.2021, the Supreme Administrative Court upheld the exemption from income tax in Poland of revenue earned by real estate investment funds based in Germany if such revenue is earned from investments made in Poland through limited liability companies.
Advising Patrizia on tax aspects of the following transactions – disposal of :
1. Norway House, CH25 and N21 to VIG Fund,
2. Le Palais office building to Generali Real Estate.
Advising CPI Property Group (CPIPG) on Polish tax aspects of the joint takeover offer by CPIPG and Aroundtown, for the entire issued share capital of Globalworth Real Estate Investments Limited.
Advising BBI Development and the Archdiocese of Warsaw on legal and tax aspects of the investment agreement with Liebrecht & WooD concerning the "Roma Tower" development project in Warsaw.
