The assembled team of MDC2 partners has built over 3 million m² of warehouses over the last 15 years. The company develops sustainable modern logistics buildings in Poland – the second fastest growing logistics market in Europe. MDC² focus is put on the Polish market, on single asset base as well as a strong team with the routes of building and marketing the logistics and warehouse projects for the last 20 years. The projects launched by the company are MDC2 Park Gliwice (57,000 m2) – currently under development and MDC2 Park Łódź South (80,000 m2) to be completed in 2023.

Hadley has been successfully operating in Poland for over 20 years where he is recognised for growing businesses and consistently outperforming the market place. Before establishing MDC² he used to hold the role of the founding CEO of EPP – the largest owner of shopping centres in Poland (EUR 2.6bn of GAV). Prior to EPP he was a Managing Partner for Eastern Europe for Colliers International where he built the best logistics and industrial space agency business in Central and Eastern Europe.

Description of the entry into the Polish market
MDC2 is the Polish company. Its founders, Hadley Dean, Jeremy Cordery and Maciej Madejak have been working in the industrial property market for over the last 20 years developing the fundamentals and growing the new economy market into what it is right now. The partners have decided to establish the industrial development business which is sustainable and which lead the change in the whole real estate industry. The company strategy is to focus on one country, Poland; one market - industrial and logistics real estate and one team - a core team of 20 team members who are all experienced in development of the industrial properties in Poland.
The orgins of the company and how it started out
One of the exciting things about setting up a new business is that you can start it as you want it and build it as you want it. This is exactly what was behind the thinking when setting up MDC2 - which is a common venture 3 partners. MDC2 is an answer to the need for absolute transparency in the marketplace. What investors and tenants want is complete transparency on costs, to be able to see how the business works. So we took a lot of what we learned in the public markets and have put it into a private development business, which has an international focus. What this means is that there is real governance and real structure. Investors and tenants are responding very well to it. During almost 18 months we were able to grow the team and the business bearing in mind a volatile times we all are facing.
