The company ESG reporting mode (short description)
GTC conducts ESG reporting in line with GRI and TCFD standards, presenting data on environmental, social, and governance areas across seven markets in Central and Eastern Europe. The reporting covers CO₂ emissions, building certifications, social initiatives, diversity, and governance principles. The document is published annually and reviewed by the Management Board and Supervisory Board.
Green certificates obtained for the investments developed or purchased by your company
98% of portfolio (100%: Poland, Serbia, Romania, Croatia, Bulgaria) is certified under BREEAM, LEED, or DGNB, or is undergoing recertification. In 2024-2025, Matrix achieved DGNB Platinum, and City Gate was awarded LEED Gold v5. 21 properties have “Barrier-Free Facility” or Access4you certificates.
The company activities in environmental protection
In 2024, GTC reduced CO₂ emissions in its buildings by 19% (scopes 1-2) and by 20% across the core value chain. It was achieved e.g. through the purchase of 100% renewable electricity in PL, ROM, CRO, BUL, and HUN, improvements in energy efficiency, implementation of a low-carbon strategy, monitoring of greenhouse gas emissions, and installation of photovoltaic panels at pilot sites. GTC introduced the WasteTracker system in 12 buildings, covering 135,000 sqm.
The company activities in social responsibility
In 2024–2025, GTC properties hosted health, social, and cultural initiatives, including free cancer screenings such as “Lavender Day” for women and “I Look Ahead – I Get Tested” under the honorary patronage of the Ministry of Health, as well as the “Safe Space” psychological support zone. There were also blood drives, family events, and environmental actions. GTC allocated EUR 369,000 to projects, while employees benefited from medical care, sports programs, and 1,400 training hours.
The company activities in the corporate governance issue
GTC follows the WSE Best Practices Code, ensuring transparency and ESG integration. Oversight is exercised by the Supervisory and Management Boards, with corporate documents publicly available. Women make up 57% of staff and nearly half of managers. The company enforces anti-corruption rules, supports whistleblowers, and monitors compliance. Its Code of Ethics commits to human rights, fair labor, and rejecting exploitation.
