The Municipality of Krakow implements 52 projects worth almost PLN 1.6 billion and funding of almost PLN 907 million.

An important role in attracting new investors is fulfilled by the Investors and Innovative Economy Support Center operating within the framework of the Municipality of Krakow. It offers assistance to domestic and foreign investors, including support in the investment process and preparation of meetings and presentations for investors. The Center's activities are also aimed at promoting Krakow investment offer during the largest European real estate fairs.
Programmes supporting investors: KPT ScaleUp acceleration programmme, Technology incubator, Digital Dragons Academy, Digital Dragons Incubator. As part of the Krakow Program for Supporting Entrepreneurship and Economic Development of the City 2016-2020, the city offers following support for entrepreneurs: Exemption from property tax for micro-entrepreneurs and small entrepreneurs starting their business activity in Krakow; Application of a reduction in the rent rate for tenants of commercial premises in buildings adjacent to the road strip, where renovation and investment works are carried out; Preferential tax rates on real estate used to operate in protected and disappearing industries.
The city is constantly developing its conference facilities, which allows the organization of all types of business meetings, congresses and conferences. Krakow is a platform for cooperation between science, business and local government. The clusters are an example of activities aimed at building a network of such cooperation.
In Kraków and the entire Małopolska voivodship, decisions on support for companies implementing new investments under the Polish Investment Zone are issued by the Kraków Technology Park on behalf of the minister competent for the economy. The amount of public aid in the area served by KPT, in the form of income tax exemption CIT or PIT, is: 35% for large, 45% for medium, 55% for small and micro enterprises.
