Galeria Katowicka is part of a major regeneration project in downtown Katowice including: a new station hall, an underground bus station, a new Szewczyka Square and an underground car park. The regeneration covers a four storey three-hectare plot plus an additional three underground floors. As for transportation infrastructure and connections, Galeria Katowicka is one of the top commercial centres in the country. The customers of the mall can arrive by nearly all means of transport. The tenant mix strategy assumed that Galeria Katowicka would be a popular place, that is attractive to all customer groups: Zara, Euro RTV & AGD, Reserved, C&A, Stokrotka, SMYK or Deichmann with the alternative provided by Peek&Cloppenburg’s (1st in Katowice) or Helly Hansen’s (1st in Poland). |
