Investing in local communities and the environment covers education, employment, and ecology. Under the SEGRO Academy programme, implemented with the Innowatorium Foundation, SEGRO promoted the idea of working in the real estate market among 1,300 high school students in 2024. Last year, SEGRO partnered with the Samodzielni Robinsonowie Foundation's Future Makers project, supporting youth from care institutions in their transition to adulthood. The programme was carried out thanks to PLN 78,000 donated to the Foundation, and 14 SEGRO employees got involved as English mentors, conducting a total of 227 hours of meetings. In summer 2025, SEGRO supported the Foundation with PLN 60,000 for the "Safe Internship" project: out of 17 internships, incl. those with SEGRO clients, 2 resulted in employment. The flagship ecological project is the installation of touchless water fountains in schools. In 2025, 56 were added, bringing the total to 180 dispensers used by > 60,000 children nationwide.
During the 2024 floods in south-west Poland, Nowy Rynek Shopping Centre demonstrated outstanding crisis management and social responsibility. Anticipating the threat, the centre implemented technical safeguards and launched a seven-day-a-week crisis coordination team, ensuring uninterrupted operations and full safety for visitors and tenants. Despite severe weather, the centre remained open, serving as a local aid hub in cooperation with the City of Jelenia Góra and partner organisations. It distributed food, water and vouchers, organised product collections and provided charging stations for affected residents. Employees showed exceptional professionalism and empathy, supporting both customers and the community. The initiative, supported by Balmain Group’s entire portfolio, became a nationwide relief effort. The centre’s resilience and effective communication were recognised by local authorities and media, reinforcing its reputation as a reliable and socially engaged asset.

Virtual Journeys with Globalworth was a CSR initiative developed with the Rakiety Oncology Foundation to support young cancer patients through VR therapy. The project reached oncology wards in hospitals in six cities—Warsaw, Gdańsk, Łódź, Wrocław, Kraków, and Katowice—offering immersive VR experiences that provided relief from stress and anxiety during treatment. VR technology helped children temporarily escape the hospital environment, improving their emotional well-being and reducing stress. Approximately 250 young patients took part in the program. Each hospital involved in the project received a dedicated VR headset set for continued therapeutic use. The sessions created space for emotional expression, bonding, and moments of joy—for children and their families alike. Psychological support is a vital part of holistic oncology care, and introducing solutions like VR is a key step in improving young patients’ quality of life.
