The office in Poland was established in Warsaw in 1997 and currently employs over 120 engineers. The Polish team provides prestigious projects in commercial, retail and other sectors creating innovative solutions that enhance the well-being of tenants and visitors and improve the quality of life in Polish cities.

One of our specialist service is ‘Health, Well-being and Productivity’. Providing a comfortable physical space for employees is proven to boost productivity which directly impacts on profitability. Working in diverse environments where space is a premium and occupant comfort, wellbeing and safety a priority, we link design to operational performance with measurable results for clients whilst increasing reliability and value of their buildings. Using bespoke tools to shape and test design solutions in collaboration with architects, workplace consultants, and the wider design team, we develop a picture of which design features will support our clients’ definition of success. The spaces we design make people feel great, help get the job done and enable businesses to thrive.
We are leading the way on the innovative use of BIM technology and highly complex energy models that simulate future energy consumption of buildings. Moreover, we deliver LEED and BREEAM certification services.

As pioneers of user-centred design we created our new office with a focus on making our employees’ health and well-being a top priority, with the space becoming a ‘living lab’ test environment for cutting-edge office design. In applying our ideas to our own environment, we are literally ‘putting our money where our mouth is’.
Co-chairing The Energy Efficiency in Buildings Platform in Poland (World Business Council for Sustainable Development initiative), BuroHappold collaborates with stakeholders to promote energy efficiency and co-benefits.
