Prologis is the largest owner and developer of industrial real estate in the CEE region with a 15 year market experience and portfolio of 3.5 mln sqm located in 38 distribution parks worth EUR 1.6 bln.

Why the company should be considered for the award: Prologis’ 2012 accomplishments include 830,000 sqm leased by the end of Q3, representing 38 pct of the CEE market share including 304,000 sqm of new leases; two 100 pct speculative developments with a combined 43,500 sqm; 18,500 sqm leased in Warsaw to Röhlig Suus Logistics, plus an additional 7,000 sqm cross-dock extension; and 24,500 sqm completed in Q3 in Bratislava. A sale transaction was concluded worth app. EUR 118 mln for 210,000 sqm disposed to Hines Global REIT Poland Logistics Holdings I LLC (the largest transaction in the industrial market in 2012). A contribution to Prologis European Properties Fund II of EUR 22.3 mln was made in the form of three facilities totalling 50,500 sqm in Poznań. Land monetisation fpr 65 ha was achieved through disposals and development. Sustainable solutions included a EUR 240,000 investment in more effective T5 lights at the 50,000 sqm Unilever facility at Prologis Park Piotrków, achieving a 40 pct energy saving (625 MWh/year), CO2 reduction to 219,000 kg/year and a payback period of 4.35 years.
