After several years of unpredictable environment and conditions in which we functioned, in the turn of 2023/2024 real estate sector participants were hopefully looking for the trend reversal, but continuous high interest rates and geopolitical factors didn’t facilitate the landscape change. Nevertheless, we were one of the most active banks financing real estate sector and we have successfully closed 22 transactions with a financing volume exceeding EUR 400 m. We supported our clients in adapting financing structures in the demanding market environment and also enabled new players to enter the Polish market. Our flexible approach allowed us to respond the specific needs of different investors (local and international). Also, being a leader in sustainable finance, we continued to strengthen our position in this area by providing first Green Loans in real estate sector, making this way, together with our customers, next step on a path of transition to net zero economy.
