Despite ongoing pandemic Skanska’s commercial business unit in CEE managed to maintain operations at full speed and conduct various transactions – not only in capital cities, but also regional ones. One of the highlights was sale of Generation Park Y. It was the biggest sale of 2021 on office market in the CEE region and the biggest transaction in Skanska’s commercial development business unit history at the same time.
In 2021 Skanska Group has received a prestigious accreditation in line with global standard provided by the Science Based Targets Initiative, confirming that company’s target is consistent with the global climate goal to limit global warming to 1.5°C by 2050. As the first developer in CEE, Skanska decided to implement concrete with a reduced carbon footprint (used for the first time in 2021 at P180 construction). Skanska has been working on further certifications for its buildings.To date it developed over 1 m sqm LEED and 200.000 sqm WELL certified office spaces in CEE
