MĘSKIE SPRAWY – KAMPANIA MOVEMBER

Galeria Bronowice organize and actively participate in events carried out for local community. Following the clame: “The place to spend your time” we propose to our customers of different age and interests not only shopping, but a wide cultural, leisure offer. In its animations Galeria Bronowice brings up as well difficult social subjects.
In November 2016, as part of events referring to health, Galeria participated in the worldwide compagne “Movember” 2016 which is symbolized by moustache and consist on raising funds to fight for men’s health, against prostate cancer. Cancer is among the leading causes of men death in Poland. As nowadays the issue of prostate cancer is a taboo, the “Movember” purpose is to reach male target, draw attention, publicize the issue through the media, increase public awareness and encourage men for health surveillance.
Event carried out in cooperation with association “Fundacją Kapitan Światełko “ consisted of 3 stages:
1) 20.10.2016 Teaser – male customers of the shopping mall were invited to start event by cleaning shaven by professional barbers.
2) than to grow moustache throughout the month,
3) 13.11.2016 – photo of mustached men who joined the movement
4) 20.11.2016 in Galeria Bronowice took place Cracow inauguration of the compagne “Movember”. All day long men could make free of charge medical examinations and consultations.

Summary of the event:
• 150 persons realized medical examinations
• Event and the issue of prostate cancer was communicated through 131 regional and national media releases: press, radio, internet. , for total publicity equivalency c.a. 226 300,00 PLN.
