Brief information about the developer/investor: Polish State Railways was established on January 1st 2001 as a result of the commercialisation of the national railway network. Its only shareholder is the state treasury. The company has a leading role in the PKP Group. Currently, Polish State Railways is implementing a programme of modernisation and construction of new train stations.

Brief information about the project: Wroclaw Main Station is a 150 year old monument, which after the restoration combines history with modern solutions of the 21st century. Prior the restoration, costing EUR 78 mln, being started in 2010, the structure was in a bad technical condition. For the project the architects have designed many modern facilities so that the railway station is friendly for all passengers, especially for disabled people. It is a place ideal for cultural activities, business, retail and many uses.
