Short information about the project:	A perfect example of revitalisation of post-industrial area(19th century factory of one of the best-known Polish manufacturers) in Lodz to create modern office space for investors, headquarters of LodzSEZ Joint Stock Co. and unique conference and cultural space in the city. The project involved renovation of already existing buildings,adding another parts in two fragments of the building and additional building-the continuation of partially realized project of a fire room from year 1938. The characteristic element of the building is a four-storey water-tower. Construction materials and design was compliant with the year of its origins. Front of the building remained empty for cultural exhibitions and events. The project was particularly complicated because of the historical meaning of the place–strictly under Conservator of Monument’s supervision. The refurbishment of the factory won 1st place in John Jacob Astor Competition (Expo Real 2013).
