Panattoni Europe has just developed a manufacturing hall for Bombardier Transportation – rail technology leader and at the same time the biggest international investor in the sector in Poland. The new facility, totalling 19,377 sqm, is being used to manufacture modern passenger train car bodies, including those for ICx high-speed trains. The production section (18,357 sqm) is divided into the laser welding room and the paint shop, while offices with staff and technical facilities take up 1,020 sqm. The main technical solutions are: -12.5T overhead cranes in parallel layout, -industrial gas systems for welding processes, including oxygen, acetylene, shielding gases, compressed air,- 3.5/5.5m high speed door with air curtains in horizontal layout,- busways for power supply to process equipment,- push-pull air supply ventilator, - indoor tracking,- exhaust ducts,- air supply ducts,- technical mezzanine floor for paint shop process facilities maintenance,- indoor shifter tracking system.
