Tesco Distribution Centre in SEGRO Logistics Park Poznań, Komorniki comprises 28 200 sq m of warehouse space and 2 000 sq m of office unit. The future expansion possibility of additional 10 000 sq m is provided with warehouse unit for fresh food.
The facility is equipped with 28 transfer stations for the receipt of goods and 32 stations for transporters. The parking lot includes 50 places for lorries (in the future even 90). The garage service point and a car wash are also at the disposal of the drivers.
The facility was developed in line with the highest ecological standards including LED fittings controlled by DALI system allowing to reduce energy consumption by up to 30%. Modern solutions will allow also to reduce water usage by 10%.
The 400 employees of the distribution centre will have the access to a parking places for 160 cars and 30 bicycles, bike shelter and a canteen. Extensive CCTV system covering the warehouse space and outdoor area guarantees safety.
