Short information about the project:	Browar Lubicz, one of 16 landmarks on Krakow’s Industrial Heritage Route, is being returned to its former glory. The Brewery, originating in 1840, had stood dilapidated for years but is now being developed into a mixed-use complex of prestigious apartments, modern office and retail space. Opposite Galleria Krakowska and the Central Railway Station, and only a short walk from the Rynek, Wawel and Kazimierz, the Brewery is situated in the heart of Poland’s cultural capital. The development objective is to incorporate carefully restored pre-war industrial buildings within a sympathetically designed city-centre community, with boutiques, restaurants and generous landscaped and green areas, to create an exceptional place to live and work. In endorsement of this concept, during his recent visit to review and approve historically sensitive elements of the project, the City’s Conservator described the Brewery as an exemplary execution of a restoration project.
