Why the company should be considered for the award:	One of Europe’s banks with the highest capitalisation ratio (18.7 pct, tier 1) and an active and reliable banking partner which never stopped lending to commercial real estate. It is one of the main lenders for new developments of commercial projects in Poland. In 2012, Pekao SA granted construction and investment loans, among others, for the folliwing office assets: Hines, Neptun (EUR 24 mln); Dakota Investments, Eurocentrum, (EUR 74 mln), Ghelamco, Marynarska 12 (EUR 64 mln). And for the retail project: Echo, Galeria Amber (EUR 47 mln). For logistics: Menard Doswell & Co (EUR 4.9 mln), Panattoni, Como Development (EUR 22 mln); as well as an investment loans to Blackstone (EUR 82 mln for logistics). The bank’s preference is always to finance new projects which build value and growth for the economy.
